What is the best way to store the products?

A. We recommend that you should put frozen products in the freezer at temperatures below -15 degrees Celsius and refrigerated products in the fridge below 4 degrees Celsius according to the shelve life printed on the product


How best should you thaw the frozen products?

A. Best way to do this is overnight in the fridge. If needed quickly, we suggest in warm (not hot) water or in the microwave. After thawing keep leftover in the fridge for a maximum of 1-3 days.

How long can I store fresh meat once I have received it?

A. 4-5 days from pack date. Best is to freeze meat you are not going to use straight away. For example if you receive 500 grams and you use half of it, freeze the remaining half straight away wrapped in aluminum foil or a plastic cling film wrap.

How long can I store the ready to eat products or the slow cooked meats once I purchase it from

A. Once the pack is open we suggest consume within 3-4 days. It is important to have a thermometer in the fridge to make sure you are maintaining a temperature of below 4-5C. This way you will be able to keep product longer and fresh and in turn reduce wastage. Try to leave fridge door open too long as temperatures rise dramatically when doing so.

How long can I store re-cooked meats from

A. 2-3 days.

What does it mean if a sealed chilled packet inflates?

A. This means that the cold chain has been abused, the product has had a higher temperature at one point and bacteria had a chance to start to grow. We would recommend that you do not consume it once this has happened.
